The homeowners wanted the house to appear as if it had been the historic neighborhood in Buckhead for years. Architect Amanda Orr and Lee Kleinhelter helped achieve this ground up build from using reclaimed brick to the patina cedar shake roof with lacquered front door. The arch of the dark green front door starts the tone carried throughout the interior where scalloped details repeated on walls, tiles, arched ceilings, openings as well as mauve and dark green hues. The cascading suspended pendants in the stairwell tie each floor to the next carrying your eye to a custom iron skylight on the fourth floor. Every turn has a subtle and unique detail showing months of attention from the early planning of the project to the finishing touches of edited accessories. The quality and craftsmanship mixed with timeless finishes and materials help make this project uniquely blended into Brookwood Hills.
